After Ned Quartermaine’s sudden heart attack, General Hospital fans have been worried that he might have died. The episode ended with his fate hanging by a thread. However, the November 11 episode revealed whether Ned pulled through or succumbed to it.

Does Ned die of a heart attack on General Hospital?

On General Hospital’s November 10 episode, Ned learnt that none of the Quartermaine heirloom boxes had been delivered to the estate.

At the same time, Drew Cain walked in and revealed that he had all those boxes, saying that the heirlooms are where they belong.

This seemingly affected Ned, who started having a heart attack. Drew refused to help him, accused him of faking the attack, and walked away, leaving Ned to die.

On the November 11 episode, Emma and Gio find Ned outside Bobbie’s, struggling to breathe. Emma runs in to get help, while Gio checks for a stable pulse.

Suddenly, Britt comes out running and starts performing CPR. Meanwhile, Emma is on the phone, trying to get an ambulance. Britt then rushes Ned to the hospital.

Later at the hospital, Britt shares with Emma and Gio that Ned is in a more stable state than when they had found him.

Following several tests, Lucas reveals to the family that Ned isn’t responding to the medications. He adds that he needs a coronary bypass surgery. Whether Ned can survive the surgery is yet to be seen.

On the other hand, Ned’s emergency served as a distraction that may work in favor of Emma and Gio. During the chaos, Britt left her purse at Bobbie’s.

When she realizes that her purse may be at the bar, she asks Rocco, Danny, and Charlotte to get it for her.

When the three get their hands on her bag, they call Emma to let her know that they can get the key fob. However, Emma refuses to execute her plans, considering Ned’s conditions.

But since it’s the only chance to get the key fob and break into Dalton’s lab, the three decide to execute Emma’s plan all on their own.
