The PCPD learns Scout sh0t Drew, and is stunned by who pushed her | General Hospital Spoilers
General Hospital spoilers reveal Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) still hasn’t blamed Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) for shooting him, and sometimes fans have been left wondering whether he might actually remember who shot him but doesn’t have any incentive to say so.
For a while, fans speculated it might have been Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) who shot Drew, even if in a dazed and dissociated breakdown.
We could see Drew not wanting to turn her in for that and much preferring to keep coaxing her back into a relationship with him while using the shooting to finger someone else for it.
Now, the fan base is starting to question whether the shooter may have been someone Drew holds even more dear than Willow, such as his daughter, Emily ‘Scout’ Cain (Cosette Abinante). Could it be?
We Haven’t Seen Much of Scout
It’s true. We haven’t seen much of Scout lately. In fact, no one has. Her family has been lambasted and exiled from her life, all thanks to her dad’s demanding and sinister ways of controlling the world around him.
Since Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) died, Scout has been left in the sole care of her father, and it seems like he has only spiraled out of control over the last two years.
Since Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) hasn’t been allowed to see her, and until recently, neither could Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), Molly Lansing Davis (Kristen Vaganos), Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi), or the Quartermaine clan, she’s kind of remained off-screen.
GH Spoilers Say Drew May Have Had It Coming?
Sure, Drew is a pretty bad guy and the entire fan base is disgusted with him, but death? That’s a bridge too far, I think. Still, that doesn’t mean he hadn’t made plenty of enemies, and he could be looking in all the wrong places for them.
Still, Scout is a child and not capable of the kind of reason we are. She isn’t capable of processing the gravity of such a decision either, and she may have been pretty messed up by her mom’s death and we just didn’t know it.
That’s increasingly more likely given how reoccupied her father has been with everything and everyone but her.
Could she have resented her dad enough in the wake of her mom’s death that she wanted to punish him for taking the rest of her family from her — or possibly stop him from moving her to Washington, DC?
Trina Dropped a Hint
Recall when Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astru) were discussing the play by play of that evening when Drew was shot.
They walked through every detail they remembered, all with the goal of determining whether they knew anything of value that they were withholding from the investigation by not coming clean with the police about being in Drew’s house when he was shot.
One key tidbit they dropped that seemed to go over many viewers’ heads was that they heard Drew’s phone ring and thought it was Scout calling based on the ringtone.
