eneral Hospital” star Steve Burton and content creator Michelle Lundstrom are officially married. The couple exchanged vows in an intimate Orthodox church ceremony on Saturday, May 17, followed by a reception at the Montage Laguna Beach.

PEOPLE reported that Burton and Lundstrom were over the moon as they celebrated the big day surrounded by their immediate family and closest friends. Around 45 guests were in attendance.

Burton told the outlet:

This day isn’t just about a ceremony. It’s the beginning of forever with the love of my life.

For the special day, Burton looked dapper in a black suit, while his now-wife wore a couture gown by Lee Petra Grebenau.

Lundstrom stunned in a figure-hugging, lacey dress paired with a simple veil. The bride revealed it was exactly the dress she had envisioned, highlighting its romantic and vintage vibes.

The couple was joined by their children at the wedding party—Lundstrom’s daughters from a previous relationship, Lilah, 14, and Hannah, 10, as well as Burton’s three children: daughters Makena, 21, and Brooklyn, 10, and son Jack, 19.

The girls wore matching dresses for the ceremony, while Burton’s only son was one of his groomsmen.

Mr. and Mrs. Burton’s seaside reception treated guests with “incredible” culinary creations, including the actor’s favorite, savory beef tenderloin. For the cake, the couple had a vanilla sponge cake with vanilla cream and fresh berries.

The Burtons hosted a Sunday brunch the following day “to celebrate once more before everyone headed home.”

Burton & Lundstrom’s Relationship Timeline

In May 2022, Burton announced his separation from his wife of 23 years, Sheree Burton. At the time, it was revealed that she was pregnant, but the “General Hospital” star clarified that the baby was not his. Their divorce was finalized in December 2023.

By May 2024, Burton confirmed he was in a relationship with Lundstrom. The two have been friends for a long time before getting romantically involved with each other. Burton said at the time:

Although we had been friends for a while and lived in different states, there was always an undeniable, electric connection between us. She is a breath of fresh air.

In January 3, 2025, Burton popped the big question to Lundstrom in Nashville, Tennessee. The happy bride described the proposal as “incredibly sweet.”

The newlyweds are enjoying their honeymoon in Maui, Hawaii.
