Nick Viall and Natalie Joy are getting major backlash for how they ‘mum-shamed’ Whitney Leavitt

Whitney Leavitt was ridiculed by Nick Viall and his wife, Natalie Joy, recently, even though he never hosted The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives reunion. Yet the discussion just left everyone with a sour taste in their mouth, because they’ve been ridiculed for “mum-shaming”.

So when Natalie Joy, Nick Viall’s wife, decided to share a family photo, they were flooded with comments of criticism for how they spoke about Whitney’s parenting. They questioned how she’d parent her three children while starring as Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway.

“I’m finally getting everything I’ve ever wanted in my life, and it’s obviously happening at a time where she’s got three kids who I’m sure demand her attention just as much as Roxie Hart and Dancing With The Stars does,” Natalie said on the podcast.

“I am curious how Whitney — and maybe this is just a human level, mom level question — on how she’s managing both, right? Because right now, her career has skyrocketed,” Natalie continued. “She just did Dancing With The Stars for what, three, four months?”

She added: “I know she has kids in school level, maybe they’re homeschooled, I don’t know. But to be in L.A. for four months doing Dancing With The Stars, and then to now shift to NYC doing Chicago, like that takes so much of her time.”

Natalie then said, “How is she managing, prioritising being a mom, and her kids who I imagine have some sort of schedule and routine? And I know their home base was Utah… I’m just so curious.” Whitney, however, has not responded to the comments.

One viewer said: “Your comments about Whitney were incredibly offensive. As a mother, you’d think you’d have more compassion for a mother. Whitney has a strong, support husband on her side, that’s how she’s able to do it. You wouldn’t know what that feels like.”
