Whitney Leavitt is quitting Secret Lives of Mormon Wives for good – The shocking reason was just revealed!
Whitney admitted during the most recent season of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives that she’d only rejoined the show in order to do Dancing With The Stars, so it’s no huge surprise that she’s reportedly planning on quitting entirely.
According to The US Sun, an insider has claimed that Whitney “doesn’t want to come back” to Secret Lives of Mormons Wives and is planning her departure.
The insider claimed: “Whitney feels she’s become too big of a star for the show and is ready to close that chapter.
“She is hoping to get more opportunities in other aspects of the entertainment industry, like acting and more dancing, and hosting, similar to Ariana Madix.”
The source continued: “She has seen what opportunities Ariana got from her reality TV fame and essentially wants to follow in those footsteps.
“And she’s banking on Broadway being just the beginning for a more prestige entertainment career. She feels returning to Mormon Wives would damage future career opportunities for her.”
They added: “Especially after feeling like the backlash from season three is what caused her premature elimination from Dancing with the Stars.”
I won’t lie, Whitney has quickly become one of my favourite Secret Lives of Mormon Wives cast members and I’d genuinely miss her if she decided to quit the show, however given all the opportunities she’s being given it wouldn’t take me by surprise.
